Konohagakure no Sato
Konohagakure no Sato, The Village Hidden in the Leaves, was founded a recent ten years ago. After the mighty Senju clan formed an alliance with the powerful Uchiha, the two approached the Daimyo of Hi no Kuni, The Fire Country, and established a contract. While other villages had been established earlier, none had approached such a definite relation with their country Daimyos. Once Konohagakure made itself a precedent, villages in neighboring nations soon followed suit. The One Village, One Country standard became commonplace in the shinobi world.
Many unique clans pledge their allegiance to the Hidden Leaf and call it their home. Two legendary clans, the Hyuga and the fabled Uchiha, wield powerful Doujutsu. Others, such as the Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara, and Yamanaka clans utilize secret techniques. These clans compromise the true strength of the village's military might. The Shodai Hokage, Akimichi Chouhiko, is the leader of one of these clans--the Akimichi.
Shodai Hokage Chouhiko aims to set an example for all future rulers of Konoha. He respects his subordinates, acts kindly, and is involved with his village. He hopes that the care he bestows in his students and all the youth of his village will reflect onto others. At the moment, Chouhiko's Konoha does not have any official alliances with other ninja villages.
