Bloodline: The Ten'yuu Clan's Kekkei Genkai is the Light Release, a combination of the Fire and Lightning Release. These techniques do not harm allies, those who the person feels close to, or protect, but does deal normal damage against others who wish harm. These techniques are amplified when used in daylight as well. The Light Release can be directed as a luminous energy, often times through a medium, or members can attract light, similar to a magnet, to reduce the amount of manipulation it takes to create light.
Techniques: Light Release (Hikari)
Name: Hikari: Soushi [Light Creation]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: -
Rank: E
Element: Light
Description: This technique is the basis for every other technique within the Ten'yuu Clan. By combining both Lightning and Fire Releases, the member of the Ten'yuu Clan can create light, and bend it to their will. Depending on the member's skill level, the member can use it in greater quantities the stronger they are, while daylight amplifies the amount and strength even more. Additionally, because light is difficult to muster without a focal point, members can focus it through an object, such as a bracelet, crystal, or any glass/steel-like object.
Name: Hikari: Moujin [Light Release: Blind Person]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Close
Rank: D
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes the Light Element, primarily through a crystalline, metal, or glass object. The member directs their Light chakra through the object, which then casts out a blinding light to a single person or people, if they are in close proximity to each other. The user must be within close proximity to the target(s) and facing the object, eyes open, as well.
Name: Hikari: Atorakushon [Light Attraction]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: -
Rank: D
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes the Light Release through the Ten'yuu Clan. A member can enhance their previous ability in amount and strength or draw from another light source, such as fire or an electrical source. This can be used for an ability or simply for a light source in dark areas.
Name: Hikari: Dashinuke Senkou [Light Release: Sudden Flash]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Mid
Rank: C
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes the Light Release. The user extends the area of effect to more than one person. The targets are blinded suddenly and dazed afterwards, often times used for an opening or an escape. The user can use this technique without a medium to increase the area of effect as well, though it isn't required.
Name: Hikari: Re-Za-Kasai [Light Release: Laser Fire]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Far
Rank: B
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes both the Light Release and Fire Element. The user manipulates an enormous amount of light energy into a focal point, charging the technique for one post. Afterward, they are able to shoot an extremely dangerous and straightforward laser beam at a target. Because of the Fire Element added to the properties, it can tear through earth itself. Anything pierced by the laser is instantly sent ablaze due to the sheer friction of the technique. However, it does not travel at the speed of light, but can catch unwary targets off guard.
Name: Hikari: Tama [Light Release: Sphere]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Far
Rank: B
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes the Light Release to create a sphere or spheres of light. It takes great mastery over this Kekkei Genkai to solidify light and maintain its form. Additionally, this is the first technique used in combination with another technique, though it can be used with others. By condensing a mass amount of light within a condensed sphere, the user can scatter them within the designated target within a radius of 30 feet. Under the user's control, they can remain suspended in the air and be controlled by the user. This technique costs half the amount it took to activate to maintain the spheres' existence per post.
Name: Hikari: Kinko [Light Release: Imprisonment]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Far
Rank: B
Element: Light
Description: This technique utilizes the Light Release to create solidified rods of light, the second technique for Hikari: Tama. Once the spheres are in place, the user can create rods of light that will imprison the target(s) within. These rods and spheres are extremely hot to the touch, able to light ablaze flesh within seconds. If destroyed, however, it will result in a major explosion of blinding light, and possibly second degree burns.
Name: Hikari: Johrei Megumi [Light Release: Johrei's Blessing]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Far
Rank: A
Element: Light
Description: This is one of two ultimate techniques of the Ten'yuu Clan and requires extreme concentration and chakra to perform. The user calls upon the divine power of Johrei to envelop everything created by chakra within a half mile radius, even that of the enemy, in divine, bright light. This technique can be used to set up additional attacks, but this technique alone renders everything covered in the divine light null and void, especially if used against the user or his/her allies.
Name: Hikari: Johrei Sutoraiku [Light Release: Johrei's Strike]
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Far
Rank: S
Element: Light
Description: This is the second of two ultimate techniques of the Ten'yuu Clan and requires extreme concentration and chakra to perform. Once Johrei's Blessing has been performed, everything covered in light instantly bursts into a display of magnificent fire, consuming everything in its path. Due to the sheer size its preparatory technique can occupy, a massive firestorm can be produced and continue raging until Johrei's rage is soothed. However, it does not seem to harm the user nor any of his/her allies. The user, though, can cease the technique at any time. The sheer amount of chakra for both techniques can result in a near death state, rarely used unless Johrei itself calls upon its release.

Location: The Lightning Country
History:
The Ten'yuu clan is considered one of the oldest and more prestigious clans residing within the Lightning Country. But their status did not start there. In fact, as any successful clan knows, they must work from the bottom of the food chain until they can reach the top. Its roots began in the curiosity of one young man: Ten'yuu Sho. Shortly during the period that the major villages were establishing, smaller villages were scattered among the shinobi land.
Sho was born within one of these small villages on the border of the Fire Country, popularly known as a monastery for those seeking higher spiritual guidance. His parents had withdrew into the confines of the monastery, tired of their lives wandering in and out of other homes and jobs. Sho was the only child, a restriction of the monastery. But his parents did not mind and found comfort within the warmth of enlightenment. As well, Sho was raised within the same light. He was taught to live a life of abstinence until marriage, worshiping divine beings eternally, and obey the laws that were set in the monastery.
Inevitably, free will settled within Sho's spirit as he matured into a teenager. He built upon its impressive ability to analyze through prayer and spiritual guidance from divine beings. Although he adored the monastery's wisdom, Sho saw a flaw in their oppressive binds placed upon its inhabitants. It did not allow them to design their lives around what they thought, but around what the text and words of their elders spoke. Sho's parents were firm believers of the elders, leaving their son unable to practice his betrayal in public. He privately divulged into his thoughts, decoding text and notes into what it should have been.
Until Sho reached the ripe age of eighteen, he had successfully began to establish his own ideals, separate from what he learned on a daily basis. But all good things must come to an end. When Sho secretly left the monastery for the day, he had forgotten to stash his text. His parents were interested in a family day at the local river, but were extremely shocked to find his room empty. That's when his mother found an open text containing obscure writing and scratch marks and revisions. These corrections were going against the ideals of the monastery and were immediately reported to the elders. A search party commenced for Sho, who was found at the riverside at the advice of his parents. There, he studied and practiced his ideals without fear of harm or being discovered. So, he was taken by surprise when two guards rushed him. Sho reacted by tossing his books at his assailants, tripping over his foot, and plunging fearfully into the river bed.
When Sho recovered from his unconscious state, he clung to a branch to avoid rushing out further. While drying off on land, he began to ponder upon what had happened. It did not take long before he realized he could no longer return home. But his thoughts were broken when a branch cloaked in fire fell on his chest, immediately sending him into a frenzy. Another young man mysteriously appeared beside Sho and purposely kicked him into the water. Only a couple minutes after were the two laughing over the incident, where the young man known only as Daemon apologized for the fiery branch. However, Sho was more interested in how the man had produced fire without any source. Daemon was caught by surprise Sho did not have any knowledge of ninjutsu and after an in-depth conversation on Sho's background, Daemon sought to help Sho in learning the Fire element.
The two lived off the wilderness for two years, practicing in unison the Fire element. Daemon had left majority of his life a mystery - enshrouded by Sho's mere interest in the fire - but was living in isolation until he perfected the Fire element. To Sho, the element intrigued what he had been teaching himself: the ability to possess free will and harness it in a manner that was free and reckless. Although he was against the fire's destructive capabilities, it was not enough to stop his ambition. When Sho reached twenty years of age, both Daemon and Sho had finally understood the Fire element well enough to leave isolation. The two split ways and were glad to have met each other. They've never met after that.
Although it had been two years or so, the likelihood of his return being welcomed warmly was not so likely. So, he roamed the lands in search for a new home, but was astounded when he had stumbled upon a glorious and mountainous range that displayed signs of civilization. It would come to be known as the Lightning Country. There, Sho settled and started his life with a woman by the name of Akane. It was not long before the two married happily and Sho told his newlywed wife about the incident many years ago. She found the tale interesting and formulated an idea. It is from the unison of the Lightning Release Akane knew and the Fire Release Sho knew that created the Light Release, a luminous energy from their divine God, Johrei.
By incorporating Lightning into Fire, members could create luminous energy in the form of pure, divine light instead of simply fire or lightning. The clan soon invoked what Sho had learned while at the monastery, minus the many restrictions, and allowing the members the opportunity to learn what their free will dictated. However, every member of the Ten'yuu clan follows set lifestyles in order to harness the Light Release. But in regards to text and elders, they simply help guide its members along numerous paths, but on the side of divine light.
Kumogakure no Sato, the Lightning Country's shinobi village was established not too far apart, and found interest in the abilities produced by the members. The villagers, however, could not tolerate such spiritual and righteous living people. But opposition has always existed in any topic, no matter how much the Ten'yuu clan has been assisting the ranks and infrastructure of the Lightning Country, and soon Kumo.
