The Byakugan

The Byakugan is a very powerful Doujutsu. Some say that it is even more powerful than the Sharingan. It has the ability to see in a 360 degrees field of vision, and is able to see more in depth the chakra network than the Sharingan. The Byakugan is capable of seeing the chakra points of a person. It is also able to see through solid objects. It only has one weakness: a blind spot, located on the back of the neck above the thoracic vertebrae.

Name: Basic Byakugan

Abilities: At this level, the user of this Doujutsu has all of the basic abilities of the Byakugan. They can see through solid objects and view to a distance of up to 100 meters. They can not see the chakra points of a person at this level.
Prerequisites: All Hyuga's start with this level.

Name: Imperfect Byakugan
Rank: B
Type: Doujutsu
Abilities: At this level of the Byakugan, the Hyuuga's telescopic vision increases in range to 800 meters. It is able to view the chakra network in great detail at this level. It can also discern between a transformation and a real person at this level. Users of this level are considerably powerful.
Prerequisites: 50 Posts, and must have trained/sparred with the previous level in at least 4 threads. (Request this level to a staff member, and show us proof that you have met the requirements.)

Name: Perfect Byakugan

Type: Doujutsu
Abilities: At this level, the telescopic vision increases to as far as 5 km. Along with all of the previous level's abilities, the user gains can see the tenketsu(or chakra points) of an opponent. This allows the the Hyuuga to target those points and severely damage the opponent. The user has mastered this Doujutsu at this point.
Prerequisites: 150 posts, and must have trained/sparred/fought with the previous level in at least 6 threads. (Request this level to a staff member, and show us the proof that you meet the requirements.)

Like the Sharingan, I divided up the Byakugan into different levels to make it more realistic. Obviously, you're not going to have it mastered immediately, so you have to work for it. This keeps things balanced. However, since this is unique to the Hyuga clan, this will not count toward your total jutsu and should be placed in the Kekkai Genkai spot of your application. And like its brother Doujutsu, it will deplete your chakra. Here is by how much.

Basic Form will give you 15 CP
Imperfect Form will give you 40 CP
Perfect Form will give you 100 CP

So if you start off with the Basic form, you will get an extra 15 CP, and through training you can get the other levels, with their CP added on. However, the Byakugan does require a chakra upkeep, so it will constantly drain your chakra.

Basic will drain 1 CP a turn- Will deactivate if your CP gets below 10
Imperfect will drain 2 CP a turn- Will deactivate if your CP gets below 8
Perfect will drain 3 CP a turn- Will deactivate if your CP gets below 5

However, if you show substansial skill, then you can unlock the following:

Name: The True Byakugan
Rank: S
Type: Special Doujutsu
Abilities: At this level, the true potential of the Byakgugan is revealed. There is no more chakra drain at this level and its telescopic range is tripled to 15 km. You have truly become a master of this Doujutsu if you reach this level. However, if your CP gets below 10 then it will deactivate.
Prerequisites: Perfect Byakugan, 400 posts, and must be a dedicated member. This will be given out if you meet the requirements and if the staff deems you worthy. Don't ask for this one.

Like with the Sharingan, you won't gain any CP by gaining this ability as to keep it balanced. After all, the no drain should be a great reward.

Special Note: For exceptional rpers, using the Hyuga's the prereqs for gaining the levels can be lowered at any time if we deem you ready.
