The Sharingan

We all know that the Sharingan is a very powerful Kekkai Genkai, coveted by some and despised by others. On here, it is no different-- all villages seek it. Also, most members will probably want it. So, to keep it a bit equal on the power range, here is how it is going to work. Pay Close Attention to what I am about to show you, please.

Name: Sharingan One Tomoe

Type: Doujutsu
Abilities: This is the first stage of the Sharingan. At its most basic level, it has only a handful of abilities. At this level, it can see the flow of chakra in a person's body and tell if someone is under a genjutsu because the chakra flow would be irregular.
Prerequisites: Starter level.

Name: Sharingan Two Tomoe

Type: Doujutsu
Abilities: This is the second stage of the Sharingan. At this level, the ability to see chakra in a person is enhanced. Uchiha can tell what kind of element an opponent will use, along with genjutsu detection. Moreover, the user gains an incredible clarity of general perception, allowing them to pick up on subtle details. The user will be able to read lips, mimic pencil movements, and so forth. Also, the user has some predictive capabilities, such as being able to track fast moving objects. However, while they may have these abilities, they may not be able to react fast enough if their bodies are not conditioned properly.
Prerequisites: Sharingan One Tomoe, at least 5 threads with you using the first level, and 50 posts. And a huge traumatic experience must happen to you IC. (Request it from admins, and show us the proof that you have met the prereqs. Unlock it in Rp.)

Name: Sharingan Three Tomoe

Type: Doujutsu
Abilities: The third level of the Sharingan grants the user many more abilities on top of those granted in the previous levels. At this level, the user can memorize any ninjutsu, genjutsu, or taijutsu that they see. They can modify these techniques to make their own, or simply use the technique that they see. However, the user must have the skill, stamina and ability to use the technique that they copy.
Prerequisites: Sharingan Two Tomoe, at least 10 threads with you using the second level, and 150 posts. To unlock this, your character's emotions must be pushed the limit of breaking. (Request it from the admins, and show us the proof that you have the prereqs. Unlock in Rp.)


This is the Sharingan, broken up. Obviously, a Genin isn't going to have the Three Tomoe right away. However, if your Sharingan evolves oddly--like one eye has one tomoe and the other two tomoe--then your one tomoe would have the one tomoe abilities, and the two tomoe would have the two tomoe's abilities. Now, seeing as this is unique to a clan, if you're of the Uchiha clan, this doesn't count towards your total jutsu. Also, once you reach the next level of the Sharingan (whether it be with both eyes, or just one), you can't degress. However, it will have some effects on your chakra points. Having this activated will deplete your chakra. Also, you won't add these techniques to your Jutsu list. Instead, they will go in the Kekkai Genkai spot.

Since this is unique to a clan, it will be slightly more powerful than other jutsu. This means that it will give you more CP than usual jutsu of the same rank.

One Tomoe will give you 15 CP
Two Tomoe will give you 40 CP
Three Tomoe will give you 100 CP

So, this means that if you are a Genin and unlock it through RP, or start off with it, you will get 15 extra CP. Then, once you unlock the next level, you will get 40 CP, and so on. If your eyes evolve oddly, however (1 tomoe/2 tomoe eyes), then you will only get 15 CP, and you won't get 40 CP until both eyes are at least at Two Tomoe.

Now, for such a powerful technique, there are drawbacks. Instead of it draining half of it's allotted amount like normal jutsu, this works a bit differently. In the show and manga, the Sharingan was shown to have a constant drain on the user. It will be the same here. For every post that the Sharingan is active, you will lose the allotted amount that is listed below.

One Tomoe will drain 1 CP each turn- If you get below 10 CP it will deactivate.
Two Tomoe will drain 2 CP each turn- If you get below 8 CP it will deactivate.
Three Tomoe will drain 3 CP each turn- If you get below 5 CP it will deactivate.

However, good news to you all, because I am a nice guy:

Name: Perfected Sharingan
Rank: S
Type: Special Doujutsu
Description: At this level, their is no chakra drain on the user and the Sharingan can remain active as long as the user wishes it to. However should their CP go below 10, it will deactivate. The user has reached a new level of mastery over their Doujutsu and are no longer concerned with the drain.
Prerequisites: Sharingan Three Tomoe. Must have 400 Posts, be dedicated, and don't request this. It will be given out at Admin discretion.

To keep things balanced, if you do get the Perfected Version you will not get any CP points for it because there is no drain. It is only fair.

For the final few things: if the user of this Kekkai Genkai has the ability to copy jutsu, they can only copy jutsu that are within his range of learning. This will be determined by your highest level jutsu. If your highest level jutsu is a C rank, then you can only copy up to C rank jutsu. Other Kekkai Genkai and Hijutsu techniques are immune to the Sharingan's copying effects. So, if you make a personal technique, it can't be copied if you use it.

And the last thing *phew*: Sharingan Users can copy techniques of natures other than their own and add them to their arsenal. However, they won't be able to use them or gain the CP from that technique until they get the nature.

Also, you can't buy the next levels of the sharingan in the shop. You have to Rp them out. Please be realistic about it.

Special Note: For exceptional rpers, using Uchiha's the prereqs for gaining the levels can be lowered at any time, if we deem you ready.
