The Plot

In a time of endless war, peace did not exist...Death and destruction eternally clung to those who fought, unavoidable and forever their fate. For many years, only chaos reigned in this land, and it seemed despair would haunt any survivors of war's cruelty. However, one man rose up from the chaos and he traveled around the world. This man was a priest--a holy man--who only wanted the fighting to stop. During his travels, he told the world of the truth of Chakra. Soon, he gained followers. However, this did neither stopped the war nor the despair. The man needed to find its source. He found the first demon, the strongest demon of that time, and he fought it. The Ten Tailed Beast, the Jyuubi...
The battle raged on for many days, until finally only the priest stood. Victorious at last, he sealed the demon within himself to keep it from rampaging and cease its destruction. After a time, he fathered two sons and taught them all that he knew. On his deathbed, he chose his youngest son to carry on his dream. When it was at last his time, he split up the Ten Tailed Beast into nine new beasts and sealed them away in secret locations to hide them from the rest of the world. Then he took the original beast's body and threw it into the sky, creating the moon. With his last breath, he died peacefully.
Many years have passed since this man died. It is the start of a new era in the world--the beginning of the Ninja World. In this time, five great villages have risen up: Konohagakure, Kirigakure, Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure. Each of these new villages specializes in their own, secret techniques. A New Generation of Shinobi are coming of age, and it is up to them to shape the world for the future.
