Fighting Style: Etsuko favors swordsmanship and taijutsu, savoring the use of brute strength and melee fighting over any technique. The style of taijutsu that allows him the best approach in dealing damage: straight on. He doesn’t float around his opponents or do fancy kicks and backflips. He is what you can call a pressure fighter. He attempts to stay close to an opponent, throwing intense flurries and combinations of hooks, uppercuts, jabs, and kicks.
The essence of this style is non-stop aggression. The Genin employs a bob-and-weave defense by bending at the waist to slip underneath or to the sides of incoming punches or counter kicking leg assaults. Unlike blocking, causing an opponent to miss a punch disrupts balance, permitting forward movement past the opponent’s
extended arm or leg and keeps the limbs free to counter. A distinct trait is his tendency to channel his entire bodyweight behind his punches and kicks, retaining all of it’s energy and causing massive amounts of damage due to closeness.
Appearance: Etsuko is of the correct proportions for his stature. He's always been an active boy since he could walk; the enrollment of the academy and lifestyle of a shinobi have produced a physically fit body. String straight black hair is molded into a combination of a high pony tail that stops at the bottom of his neck, four long dreads that length to his tail bone, and two bangs that stop mid chest. Hair ornaments such as red twine are littered throughout his hair to give a more tribal look. His facial features are gentle than most; high cheek bones, pronounced lips and cheeks, and radiant blue eyes make all the ladies swoon. Tattoos on his face and arms attribute to his exotic look. Additionally, his genetic material grants two unusual features; elongated canines and nails that are sharp enough to render flesh.
His battle attire is quite fitting in regards to what pre-warring tribes used to wear before the formation of the villages. Covering his chest is a black leather vest with light brown fur trim. The vest is fashioned to protect his chest, back, and shoulders. Protecting his forearms and the top of his hands are gauntlets forged out of the same black leather and light brown fur material as his vest. These gauntlets are easily attachable; the insides housing a slab of metal in the forearm and atop of the hand and knuckle region. It aids in the reduction of piercing damage from sharp objects and allows for a much harder punch. Fit snug around his legs are specialized shorts with double-ties which fasten at the knees and gives it a puffy look. Around his waist are three medium sized pounces that hold all of his ninja tools.
The final piece of his battle attire is his boots; knee high and with a separation between the big toe and other toes. Like his gauntlets, they also have pieces of metal—housed at the shins to provide an added defense against piercing and bladed weapons. The soles are of a padded leather material; the softness gives him a tactile contact with the ground, and the concomitant gripping ability that lets him use his feet more agilely.
In his leisure outfit, Etsuko dons a red hakama that is worn blousing over his legs, exposing his feet. In design to accomplish this, it is a tad bit longer than a normal hakama; a cord is ran through the hem and drawn tight, creating a "ballooning" effect. The sides are divided in a ninety-degree split, stopping mid thigh. Covering his chest is a black haori characterized by sky blue flower patterns that flow over the shoulders, seams, and sleeves. The bulk of this upper clothing extends just below his pelvic region. Beneath the haori is a simple, sleeveless white shirt tucked into his hakama.
Personality: Etsuko loves to fight, it's his life blood; though it tends to get the best of him. Hailing from Kirigakure has made him far from naive and innocent as he very well understands the dangers and ways of the real world. He has been described as aggressive, confident, and polite; even in the most extreme circumstances. He is afraid of few things and is willing to take on anything thrown at him regardless of the dangers. It is through this confidence and aggressive nature that he can survive and come out on top in tough situations; adding to the "tough-guy" imagine. He can be rather insensitive and a bit under-emotional at times, and is not one to take jokes and pranks lightheartedly.
He can be portrayed something of a sadist, not above relishing a good fight. To him, nearly all means of solutions can be solved with creative implications. He is not hesitant in mutilating his opponents; cutting off the legs to prevent escape, breaking fingers to prevent handseal formation, and whatever else he can think of. Despite his aggressive nature, Etsuko is very perceptive in battle.
He is aware of any potential danger to his person and can immediately react to it. For his rank and skill, he is quite analytical, able to deduce the basics behind an opponent's technique. That said, he has a high opinion of himself, giving him an air of self-centeredness. His ideology of battle and daily tasks are much like killing; it gets easier the more you do it. Karma and fate is something he'll never comprehend; outright mocking the notion of it. He claims that he controls his fate and that his mistakes and triumphs are through his own actions, not some divine deity.
Coupled with his upbringing, his current mindset makes him comfortable with death. A defining trait from him would be his dirty-handedness and general indifference to those who talk to him about it. When opportunity arises, he has no problems in using children, or even disabled children as weapons to gain an edge. Self preservation, the building block to any one life. He deceives with a smile and ravages with ill intent. In his simplest form, he's just like any other shinobi, he does what he needs to do to survive.
History: Etsuko was born under the Izanami; a somewhat prolific name of a nomad tribe of barbarians. Before the foundation of villages, the Izanami trekked the lands in search of battle and riches. They, much like the Uchiha and Senju, were hired to do dirty deeds. While they did not sport massive amounts of chakra, or kill people with a glare, they made their presence known throughout history as brutal guerilla tacticians. Etsuko grew up in the last running’s of this Golden Age of freedom and bloodshed. From the time he was able to hold a sword, Etsuko was taught to kill. Small game at first; rabbits, fish, and deer (within a group), but it was around his seventh birthday that he had his first human kill.
The fight in particular was against another kid of similar age who Etsuko was forced to fight by his clanmates. The boy in particular had lost everything dear to him and was out for revenge. He would not find it that day; only an early grave. The whole concept behind it served as a right of passage. Etsuko had to prove his killer instinct, and he did. The overall experience wasn’t traumatic for him in respects to other children his age. He was groomed to kill after all. After that faithful day, the boy was branded with tribal markings akin to his fellow Izanami. No more notches would be added to his belt after that first human kill. He seldom got to partake in action, mainly tasked with pillaging.
Then the Golden Age ended; the foundation of villages came into place, making it harder for them to roam around. Etsuko and clan eventually wandered into Kirigakure, making the place their home. Life in the Etsuko household was simple. His parents were savages by nature; opting to result in violence to settle their disputes. The winner would call the shots, no matter how logically flawed the base reason for the dispute was. Growing up in such an environment, one would think a great detriment would ensue on the child. Nay. It encouraged him to get stronger; it made him want to fight. Not like he had any choice. He was conditioned to enjoy the simplistic lifestyle of power calling the shots—somewhat. Now that things have settled down and everyone was in a more permanent position, strength was more of a defining factor than ever.
Being the weakest of the household, he couldn’t object to anything his parents commanded of him. Each time he refused their orders, each time he had to fight them. It wasn’t uncommon for the boy to be seen with a black eye or a bloodied lip. He never enjoyed losing, especially when it came with his freedoms being taken away. To be free, you have to be strong. The boy eventually enrolled himself into the academy where he began the long road of becoming a full fledged shinobi. Fortunately for him, his parents weren’t shinobi, simply laborers. This made his quest for dominance and freedom more realistic. It gave him the drive to continue through the academy, which he graduated at the tender age of twelve and building a reputation of brutality along the way. Sporting new vigor and confidence, he was preparing his ascent.

The maximum amount of servants that can be made is fifty.

Description: A technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The caster will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target. The illusion must take the form of a horrifying or gruesome image. While this may scare or intimidate the victim, it is also liable to being detected more easily than higher level illusions.

When using Kawarimi in threads, it has a one post cool-down, which means you cannot immediately use it after having just done so.
